Overview

Peran dan fungsi pergudangan dalam sebuah perusahaan yaitu sebagai lini yang bertanggung jawab untuk menjaga dan memelihara persediaan barang guna memenuhi kebutuhan operasional setiap lini di perusahaan. Keberadaan gudang dalam perusahaan merupakan pendukung kelancaran dalam setiap aktifitas operasional yang ada, dimana Bagian Gudang berperan juga dalam mengelola stok dan persedian barang bagi setiap user di seluruh departement, efisiensi waktu pelayanan permintaan dan pengiriman dan fasilitas lain yang diperlukan. Oleh karenanya dalam mengelola warehouse memerlukan pemahaman tentang peran, fungsi dan aplikasi yang efektif dalam manajemen pergudangan. Selain itu juga warehouse yang efektif juga mempunyai alur kerja dan prosedur kerja yang efektif serta efisien dengan menggunakan metode-metode terkini baik dari sisi teknis di lapangan dan sistem informasi yang tersedia sehingga tercapai keefektifan sistem pergudangan yang maksimal.
